Child Development Foundation will consider Applications for grants from Montgomery County, Pennsylvania agencies, organizations and institutions that provide direct services in Montgomery County to physically, mentally and/or emotionally handicapped children, ages birth to 21 years, who are residents of Montgomery County and which direct services that fall within the scope of the Purposes of CDF. Due to limited resources, grant requests for capital campaigns or debt service will not be considered at this time. In general, CDF will consider grants to only those agencies, organizations and institutions that have been determined to be 501(c)(3) by the IRS and that perform charitable service. An agency, organization or institution may submit only one (1) Application for consideration by the Foundation between January 1 and March 31. Distribution of grant awards is made by June 30. Grant awards are for a period of one (1) year. Site visits to applicants and grant recipients may be conducted by CDF representatives as deemed appropriate.
